Over the previous months, Global Spedition, with the purpose of continuous improvement, in aiming for the target of 0 work accidents and 0 traffic accidents, has obtained ISO 39001 (road safety) and ISO 45001 (health and work security management system).
This year, as part of GLOBAL SPEDITION CSR program, we have used again Ecovadis to analyse our performance.Global Spedition has been qualified with the gold medal.
This analysing methodology is at the core of our CSR analysis system, covering 21 criteria across four themes of Environment, Fair labour practices, ethics/fair business practices, and supply chain.
We have chosen again this methodology because Ecovadis is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, covering 180 spend categories and 150 countries.
Over the previous months, Global Spedition has finished the relocation to a new facility with 10.000 square meters in Tarragona, in order to increase and modernize the facilities, and in this way, improve the service to their customers.
Global Spedition has become a Responsible Care member of ECTA as part as our RC commitment.
We would like to encourage all our partners and providers to participate in this programme in order to achieve a safe and secure working environment, which is responsible and sustainable regarding the operation of our activities.
With the aim of improving driver performance Global Spedition has developed a new virtual reality training program. The new program lets our drivers undertake routine tasks and incident responses all inside a virtual environment.
GLOBAL SPEDITION SLU supports the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. With this communication, we express our intent to implement those principles.

At Global Spedition we have continued our dedication to our CSR programme into and throughout the year 2017. This ongoing commitment includes the donation of mobile phones (OXFAM Intermón), sponsoring sports teams (Balonmano Dominicos) as well as the certification and continual reduction of the Carbon Footprint.
Furthermore, we will be participating in the ‘Día Solidario de las Empresas’ (Supportive Day of Organisations) organised by ‘Cooperación Internacional’ and ‘Atresmedia’ running on 21st October. For yet another year, we will in November commence the campaign of collecting and donating food in collaboration with food-bank ‘Banco de Alimentos’ in every delegation.
During June 2017, GLOBAL SPEDITION reaches agreements with BOREALIS and SK GLOBAL CHEMICAL companies, increasing the number of companies wich GLOBAL SPEDITION is nowadays working for within the petrochemical market.
With the goal of reducing Global Spedition Carbon Foot Print, in 2016 100 per cent of the fleet has been renewed to Euro VI vehicles with speed limiters and trained drivers with an efficient driving programme prepared in accordance with this type of vehicle.
